Pilot terms

Families can read this in a few minutes. It is a summary of how a pilot placement works. It is not a substitute for a signed agreement.

• The unit stays property of the operator unless it is purchased.
• A placement period is set in writing before the unit stays the night — long enough to learn the house, short enough to end cleanly if it is not a fit.
• A human is on call. That is a target response, not a guarantee of minutes until a person is in the driveway.
• The family must keep a working phone path for alerts and for the on-call person.
• Pets and stairs must be disclosed before placement.
• We can pull the unit if the home is unsafe for the machine, or if the person needs a higher level of care than watch, report, and fetch.
• We make no Medicare, Medicaid, or other coverage claims. A night is billed as a placement rate, not as a covered robot CNA.
